5/11 newsletter

Here is the 5/11/26 Newsletter: https://aptg.co/KMRg5J

Here is the phone call that will go home on the evening of 5/10:

We’d like to thank all the local churches, businesses, and our PTO for helping to shower our teachers with appreciation last week. We appreciate your generous donations.

This is for all students: If your Chromebook is at home, it needs to come charged to school tomorrow. Chromebooks and chargers will be left at school so we can begin the inventory process. Library materials are due on Friday.

For all students: Next, EOGs (End of Grade Testing) begin on tomorrow, May 11th.  Please ensure students are well rested this week. As a reminder, breakfast is free for all students. Students will take the reading EOG on Monday, math on Tuesday, and 8th grade Science on Wednesday. Please make sure students are on time so we can begin testing in a timely manner. We will not be able to dismiss students for appointments prior to the end of testing so we do not disrupt the testing environment. The anticipated end time is around noon.

EOG make-up and retests will begin on Thursday.  Students will have remediation prior to re-testing. To help us speed up the process of retesting, see the newsletter, school website, or Facebook page to fill out our retest form.

This last announcement is for 8th grade families: Our 8th grade promotion ceremony is on Thursday, May 21st at 5:15pm in the gym. All details can be found in the newsletter.

- Students should attend school as normal on Thursday, May 21st for promotion practice in the morning.

- Doors will open at 4:30 pm for seating. The promotion ceremony will take place at 5:15pm.

- Preferred student dress for the ceremony is business casual. However, families are not expected to purchase additional clothing for the ceremony.

We cannot wait to celebrate the 8th graders this evening!
