Mrs. Figuracion's School Counseling Website

Welcome to the 2020-21 School Year!
I will update my website often with information on Reproductive Health, high school registration, Yadkin Early College information, special speakers, etc.
Reproductive Health classes have begun! 8th grade classes were completed the week of February 15th. Grades 6 is scheduled for April 22nd & 23rd; 7th grade for April 29th & 30th (Baldwin's team) and May 3rd & 4th (Baity's team). Opt out forms will be sent home. Your child WILL PARTICIPATE unless this opt out form is returned. If you DO NOT want your child to attend the classes, please complete the form and return it to your child's science teacher.
I will be working with the in-person 8th grade students on high school registration the week of February 22nd - 26th. The Yadkin County Schools High School Course Selection Guide will be available, with class descriptions, after February 15th on the YCS website under the "Students" tab. A google form will need to be completed by parents/students in order to register for classes. The google form will need to be completed by March 12th. This form will be put in my Canvas course that week. Please call me with any questions. Here is the link to the google form if you are having a hard time with CANVAS:
Yadkin Early College will be visiting 8th grade students during their FLEX classes on Monday, January 11th, for A Cohort, and Friday, January 15th, for B Cohort. They will present general information about the Early College and the application process. Paper copies of the application and recommendation forms may be printed from the files on the right side of this page, or students may access the online application and  recommendation page with the following links:
