Welcome to the 2019-20 School Year!
I will update my website often with information on Reproductive Health, high school registration, Yadkin Early College information, special speakers, etc.
Due to the school closures for the next two weeks, the application deadline for Yadkin Early College will be extended. You may print out a copy of the Early College application from this website. If you email me, I can get the teacher recommendations that students need. Please email me with any questions or concerns. Thank you!
There will be a Future Falcon Night for rising 9th grade students and parents on Thursday, February 13th at Forbush High School. Shonda Smitherman has begun the Reproductive Health lessons. Eighth grade classes are Oct. 2 & 3 (Caudill) and 14 & 15 (Webb). Seventh grade classes will be taught in November: 4th - 6th (Wall) & 19th - 21st (Baity). Please remember that parent permission must be given in order for students to participate. If your student has misplaced their form, there is one on this website as well as copies that are available in the FMS office.
We will have Shonda Smitherman from New Hope Pregnancy teach Reproductive Health again this year. Students must have parent permission to participate in these classes. A permission slip will be handed out in Science classes in September. There is also a copy you can download and print on this web page. There will be a parent meeting on the 30th of September if you would like to preview the curriculum with Ms. Smitherman. This will be held in the evening at Yadkinville Elementary School.
